We are seeking an experienced Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS), RN to lead our hospice clinical team and oversee the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care throughout the Ventura County and surrounding communities. This executive leadership role is responsible for the overall clinical management of our hospice program, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, staff development, and the highest standards of patient and family care. Patients and Families:
Key Responsibilities Provide overall clinical leadership and oversight of hospice operations Supervise and support clinical managers, nurses, contracted providers, and on-call staff Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Participate in recruitment, onboarding, retention, and development of clinical staff Promote patient advocacy and exceptional customer service Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve organizational goals Qualifications Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience, including at least 3 years in hospice or home health leadership Prior supervisory or management experience required Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and clinical operations Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills Experience with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare technology Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation CHPN certification preferred Join a Team That Values Compassion, Excellence, and Leadership If you are a dedicated hospice leader seeking an opportunity to guide a high-performing clinical team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families, we encourage you to apply today.
