Your Role:
Patient Referral Coordinator As our Patient Referral Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients have a seamless experience from referral through scheduling and intake. You will serve as a liaison between patients, referral sources, insurance companies, and clinical staff to ensure referrals are processed accurately and efficiently. What You'll DoReferral & Intake Coordination Receive, review, and process incoming patient referrals. Verify referral information for accuracy and completeness. Contact patients to discuss services, scheduling, and next steps. Coordinate intake appointments and maintain referral tracking systems. Follow up on missing documentation and outstanding referrals. Patient & Provider Communication Provide exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, schools, physicians, and clinical staff. Maintain professionalism and empathy when working with families seeking services. Administrative Support Maintain accurate patient records and referral documentation. Upload, scan, and organize medical records and reports. Assist with incoming calls, emails, faxing, and general office support. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements. Keep the office organized, professional, and patient-ready. Experience Minimum of 2 years of medical office, referral coordination, scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare administrative experience preferred.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
