Responsibilities:
Communicates the admitting process to the patients. Assembles New Patient, authorization, and all electronic forms; verifies accurate and current patient information. Prepares schedules and daily appointments and records all information in patient charts. Checks insurance and collects co-pay or deductible per payment eligibility in computer system and/or using online tools to ensure correct and accurate data is collected. Responsible for sending provider referrals, pre-authorizations, and supporting documentation. Responsible for ensuring that opening and closing duties are completed such as cash drawer is open/closed, equipment is turned on/off, and doors are unlocked/locked for the day. Per clinic operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training in a medical/clinic practice or customer service preferred
Compensation:
$18.00 - $20.70 per hour, depending on education and experience. Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
