Role:
Sierra Vista is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring accurate patient intake, registration, and administrative support for clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner Perform patient registration, admission, and demographic data entry into electronic systems Verify insurance eligibility and collect required documentation at admission Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Coordinate with nursing and clinical teams to support smooth admissions and transfers Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Assist with scheduling, forms, and general administrative support Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all facility policies and healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
