Job Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Physical Therapy of the Rockies, you'll support our Physical Therapists to provide hands-on, evidence-based care to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. You'll work with a skilled, supportive team in a therapist-led environment where your clinical expertise is valued and your professional growth is a priority. Key Responsibilities
  • With the Physical Therapist's guidance, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and innovative modalities.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely in compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, Occupational Therapists, and other clinicians to optimize patient care.
  • Adjust treatment plans under the Physical Therapist's direction to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, professional standards, and clinic policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, specialty certifications, and mentorship programs.

          • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in CO (or eligible for licensure in the state of practice; compact license accepted where applicable).
          • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
          • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
          • Knowledge of FLSA exempt status guidelines for healthcare professionals. Physical Requirements
          • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
          • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
          • Ability to assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises.

          $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
