In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective patients, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for all clients while maintaining compliance with health regulation policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by coordinating patient intake, managing medical administrative tasks, and supporting our healthcare providers with exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression Manage patient intake procedures utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software Verify insurance information, explain coverage options, and assist with health insurance documentation Collect and update accurate patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient flow Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, appointments, and administrative documentation using Microsoft Office tools Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to answer inquiries and provide appointment reminders Support medical office operations by handling administrative tasks such as typing reports, managing files, and processing forms Experience Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment with familiarity in medical administrative support Strong knowledge of health regulation policies and confidentiality standards related to patient information Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Experience using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) for data entry and retrieval Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance processes, and billing procedures is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Join us in delivering compassionate care through organized, efficient admissions processes!
