Dermatology Patient Coordinator 20 East Elm Street, Greenwich, CT 06830 From $25 an hour - Full-time From $25 an hour - Full-time Greenwich Point Dermatology is a premier medical and cosmetic dermatology practice located in the heart of downtown Greenwich, CT. We are seeking a Patient Coordinator who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, thrives in a team environment, and has a genuine interest in skincare. In this role, the Patient Coordinator will manage daily patient communications, primarily over the phone. The ideal candidate will have a warm, professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse patient population while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in fostering a positive, efficient, and welcoming experience. This position is responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling, front desk operations, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate ensures accuracy in all tasks while maintaining professionalism and adhering to practice policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide professional and compassionate patient care both over the phone and in person Respond to incoming calls and online appointment requests, delivering accurate information in a timely and professional manner Schedule appointments for new and existing patients while obtaining and updating demographic and insurance information Serve as a liaison between providers and patients to support satisfaction and ensure appropriate follow-up care Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive patient information Familiarity with practice management systems (EMA) is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Demonstrates excellent telephone etiquette and strong communication skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment when handling calls. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A motivated and enthusiastic team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
