  • 4:00 PM Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone in a courteous and professional manner.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Collect and accurately post copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances to patient accounts. Print superbills for the following day's appointments. Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to services. Process and coordinate patient referrals , including verifying referral requirements and coordinating referrals to specialists. Update and maintain accurate patient demographics. Scan and upload photo IDs, insurance cards, and required documentation into eClinicalWorks (ECW). Provide professional support to physicians, staff, visitors, and patients to ensure smooth daily operations. Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, providing accurate information or routing calls appropriately. Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient, staff, and physician information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Requirement Must be bilingual (Spanish & English). Previous experience processing and coordinating medical referrals is required. Insurance verification experience is required , including verifying eligibility, benefits, coverage, copayments, and deductibles.
