  • Are you passionate about helping patients move forward with their dental care while keeping a busy schedule running efficiently?
Sunset Smiles Care Center is looking for an organized, energetic, and patient-focused Schedule Coordinator to help us grow our practice and deliver an exceptional patient experience. This is much more than a scheduling position. We are looking for someone who understands dentistry, enjoys building relationships with patients, and can help maintain a productive and efficient schedule while supporting treatment acceptance and practice growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize provider schedules daily
  • Fill schedule openings and same-day cancellations
  • Contact patients with unscheduled treatment plans
  • Reactivate overdue recall and inactive patients
  • Schedule all future appointments before patients leave the office
  • Review treatment plans and coordinate treatment scheduling
  • Understand dental procedures and appropriate appointment times
  • Confirm appointments and reduce no-shows
  • Review insurance estimates and patient financial responsibilities
  • Collect payments and post payments accurately
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix
  • Support daily production and collection goals
Qualifications:
  • Dental office experience required
  • Dentrix experience preferred
  • PPO insurance knowledge preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
