Job Description
We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced medical front office clerk (at least 1 year experience).
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS BASIC REQUIREMENT.
Experience and thorough knowledge of Medicare replacement plans, commercial insurance, HMO's, etc. is a must, as well as prior authorizations. Applicant must be able to answer multiple incoming phone lines, have a stable job history, be friendly, have excellent organizational skills, communicate effectively and work well with others. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Responsibilities and duties (shared): Schedule patients, confirm appointments and provide instruction regarding appointments. Assist in answering phones. Have an understanding of insurance companies and plan distinction. Check-in/check-out patients. Data entry of patient information. Obtain authorizations when necessary. Multi-task between assignments seamlessly. Have a thorough understanding of HIPAA. Previous experience using EHR and scheduling programs.Benefits:
