Work Environment This position is primarily onsite at our outpatient office in Lehigh Acres, where you will work in a supportive and dynamic team atmosphere. You will be joining a team of experienced physical therapists, support staff, and healthcare professionals who prioritize communication and collaboration for the best patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional impairments to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress. Document all patient care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations and billing requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to optimize patient care strategies and outcomes. Educate patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs to enhance their understanding and promote adherence. Track and uphold clinical productivity standards, remaining updated with the latest advancements and best practices in physical therapy. Participate in staff development initiatives, quality assurance programs, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance service delivery. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained therapy environment by adhering to all safety protocols and equipment regulations. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population predominantly consists of adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with individuals seeking rehabilitation for conditions such as joint replacements, fractures, and soft tissue injuries, tailoring your therapeutic interventions to meet their unique recovery goals. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred. An active or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is essential for this role. Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-focused care and strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with diverse teams. Familiarity with WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems is advantageous, as our team utilizes these tools to streamline patient management and documentation. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required. Candidates with a history of working with diverse populations and familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 85,000
to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
