Job Summary and Qualifications An Office Coordinator or Medical Office Coordinator manages front-office operations, patient scheduling, billing, and staff workflows. Responsibilities include insurance verification, patient check-in/check-out, medical records management, and supporting administrative or clinical team tasks Core Responsibilities Manage front office workflows, patient relations, and phone communications. Handle patient registration, insurance verification, and co-pay collections. Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and oversee medical records filing. Assist with onboarding, training, and scheduling for clinic or clerical support staff. Process invoices, maintain department files, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent ( Associate s degree preferred). Minimum 1 to 2 years of secretarial or medical office experience. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.
