Qualifications Education/Training:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or higher degree preferred

Experience:

Minimum one (1) year business office experience preferred in Health Care/Insurance Verification and Collections with computer knowledge and data entry skills. One (1) year of related experience, with knowledge of patient care techniques regarding co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients with understanding of co-occurring disorders, preferred.

Licensure/Certification :

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent Current Florida Driver's License (may be required to drive company van on occasion) Current CPR Certification Must pass competency exams within 90 days of hire. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Knowledge and Skills:

Well organized Works independently Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage stress appropriately. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Good customer service skills Understands & practices effective motivational techniques. Demonstrates consistent ability to problem-solve & communicate clearly, both verbally & in writing. Demonstrates regular, required attendance. Effectively interacts with patients, peers, & families.
