October 2026 About the Role OnSpot Dermatology is seeking an experienced Clinical Phone Team Specialist to join our West Palm Beach team beginning in October 2026. This position supports patients by phone and assists with key clinical and administrative needs. Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume inbound patient calls and return patient calls as needed. Communicate biopsy and pathology results to patients according to provider instructions. Coordinate follow-up appointments and escalate clinical concerns to providers when necessary. Complete and track prior authorizations and communicate with insurance companies. Process and send medical records in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Accurately document patient interactions and clinical communications in the EMR. Work closely with providers, medical assistants, and other departments to support patient care. Provide professional, compassionate, and timely patient service. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in dermatology required. Strong knowledge of dermatology terminology, procedures, and clinical workflows. Experience with biopsy/pathology results, prior authorizations, and medical records. EMA/Modernizing Medicine experience preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of tasks. Comfortable using EMR and other computer systems. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Must be available to work onsite at our West Palm Beach office daily.
