Pembroke Pines, FL Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary VivaMas Medical Centers is seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at our Pembroke Pines location. The Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations by welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling patient inquiries, and supporting communication between patients and medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position is ideal for an organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about providing excellent patient service. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Schedule and confirm appointments Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries Maintain accurate patient records within EMR/EHR systems Coordinate patient flow with medical staff and providers Address patient concerns professionally and efficiently Support daily administrative and front office operations Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of front desk or healthcare administrative experience required Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Experience with insurance verification and data entry preferred Proficient with computers and office systems Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Creole/French proficiency is a plus Working Environment Fast-paced outpatient medical center environment Frequent patient interaction and multitasking Combination of administrative and customer service responsibilities Moderate computer and phone usage required Ability to sit or stand for extended periods AHCA Requirements This position may require successful completion and maintenance of an AHCA Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida healthcare regulations.
