Job Description

Medical Office Operations Coordinator Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Disorders Medicine, PA is seeking a highly organized, professional, and dependable Medical Office Operations Coordinator to support the daily workflow and operations of our busy specialty medical practice. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys problem-solving, works well with teams, and can effectively support both administrative and clinical operations.
Position Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Supporting daily administrative and operational workflow Assisting with patient scheduling coordination Managing and tracking referrals and authorizations Supporting provider schedule management Monitoring operational workflow processes and follow-up needs Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and tracking logs Assisting with patient communication and documentation workflows Supporting medical records and scanning processes Assisting with workflow improvement initiatives and special projects Coordinating operational tasks between departments Providing administrative and operational support to practice leadership and staff Qualifications Preferred candidates should possess: Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Outlook preferred Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to maintain confidentiality Computer proficiency and comfort learning healthcare systems Previous medical office or healthcare experience required Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment Healthcare administration or operations interest preferred Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Permanent position No weekends Remote work not available Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with experience Health benefits available for full-time employees Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k) eligibility after one year of employment Supportive and team-oriented work environment Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Disorders Medicine, PA is committed to professionalism, teamwork, and providing excellent patient care and operational support.
