Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance information. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services being rendered, and determining patient financial responsibility. Communicate with insurance companies to obtain necessary information and resolve discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations. Experience Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and insurance representatives.
