Responsibilities include answering phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, checking patients in and out, updating demographic and insurance information, collecting payments, and responding to general questions. This role communicates with patients, medical staff, insurance providers, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely service. Additional duties may include verifying insurance coverage, processing referrals, maintaining patient records, and handling messages for clinical staff. Candidates should have strong customer service, communication, computer, and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous healthcare, medical office, receptionist, or customer service experience is preferred.
