Responsibilities Performs all functions of case finding, abstraction, database maintenance, report production, and patient follow-up for the trauma registry. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Minimum of Associate in health-related field Required In Lieu of degree 4 years of clinical healthcare experience or 4 years data abstraction or coding experience with High School Diploma or Equivalent. Work Experience No experience required with Associates Degree 1 year experience in medical coding in a hospital setting Preferred 2 years Work experience with strong emphasis on data integrity and analysis Preferred Licenses and Certifications None Required RN
