Advanced Practice Provider Cardiac Inpatient Medical Nights Piedmont Rockdale Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our clinic location at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital located in Conyers, GA. This is a full-time position working nights with weekends. This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nations leading cardiology programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians. Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.Responsibilities:
In this position you will : Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patients record Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries Prepare patient workups Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.Piedmont Benefits include:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing Required and Masters degree in Nursing Required or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for theGeorgia State Composite Board Required Licenses and Certifications:
ACLS Upon Hire Required and BCLS- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and PA
- Physician Assistant Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. Updated NCCPA certification for PAs. Upon Hire Required or ACNP
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the
State of Georgia Upon Hire Required Minimum Qualifications:
Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification- -or•Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
