Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified or board-eligible physician in Palliative Medicine to join an inpatient team specializing in compassionate, comprehensive palliative care near Roswell, GA. This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized care to patients in an acute care hospital setting.

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, patient-centered palliative care in an inpatient acute care setting. Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team consisting of: One experienced palliative care physician A dedicated, full-time licensed practical nurse (LPN) A full-time licensed social worker Assist in managing and growing the inpatient palliative care program, with a focus on holistic, coordinated patient care. Engage with patients, families, and the medical team to create personalized care plans aligned with patients goals and quality-of-life considerations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in palliative care program management within an acute care hospital setting. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Educational Requirements:
Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (or eligibility for certification) through the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery. Completion of a Palliative Medicine Fellowship from an accredited program.
