Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Office Cleaner to maintain a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment within two adjacent medical offices in Snellville, GA. This role requires strong attention to sanitation standards and infection-control practices in a healthcare setting.. This vital role ensures that patient areas, examination rooms, administrative offices, and common spaces are kept spotless, sanitized, and compliant with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to cleanliness, safety protocol adherence, and healthcare infection prevention. Your efforts directly contribute to the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors by providing a hygienic environment that promotes health and safety. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, examination areas, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, breakrooms, restrooms and administrative offices using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors Dust furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and windowsills Disinfect high-touch surfaces Empty trash and non-hazardous medical waste Restock paper products and soap Clean mirrors and glass surfaces Secure building after cleaning Report maintenance or supply needs Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience within healthcare facilities or similar environments. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to chemical handling, safety procedures, and infection control practices in healthcare settings. Experience with healthcare infection prevention protocols and sanitation standards. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely while adhering to safe lifting practices for manual handling tasks. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness logs and safety documentation. Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude towards staff and visitors. Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods of standing or walking throughout the shift. Certification or training in chemical agent handling or environmental services is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
