Pharmacy Customer Service & Patient Care Representative Senior Life Pharmacy - Thomasville, GA Join a team that's making medication management easier for seniors across the country. Senior Life Pharmacy is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Customer Service & Patient Care Representative to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in supporting our patients and ensuring they receive timely, accurate, and helpful service throughout their pharmacy experience. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and can think quickly to resolve problems. Pharmacy experience is a plus, but strong customer service experience and a willingness to learn are essential. What You'll Do Answer incoming calls from patients and provide friendly, professional customer service. Assist patients with questions and concerns regarding their medications, prescriptions, orders, and pharmacy services. Address shipping and delivery questions, including shipment status, delays, and delivery concerns. Communicate with patients regarding prescription and order updates. Identify patient concerns and determine the appropriate steps to resolve or escalate the issue. Work with pharmacy staff, providers, and other departments to resolve patient needs. Document patient interactions, concerns, and resolutions accurately in the appropriate systems. Maintain accurate and timely patient information. Follow established pharmacy procedures and protect patient privacy and confidential information. Recognize situations that require pharmacist involvement and appropriately escalate clinical or medication-related questions. Provide a compassionate and positive experience for patients, including those who may be frustrated, upset, or experiencing urgent concerns. Assist with other patient service and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Previous customer service, healthcare, pharmacy, insurance, or call center experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer and multitasking abilities High attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude with a desire to help others Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pharmacy, medical office, or Medicare experience is a plus, but not required Ability to multitask and prioritize completing needs. Ability to think quickly, assess situations, and identify appropriate solutions. Strong problem-solving skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with patients. Ability to remain professional and calm when handling difficult or stressful situations.
