Tired of being stuck in traffic? Well, this job may be for you… Celebrating 50 years servicing the Central Oahu communities, Hawaiian Eye Center is currently interviewing for our Medical Front Desk position for our Wahiawa and Waipahu locations. Specific Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage a busy patient schedule and have the highest quality of customer service.
  • Multitask (i.e. answer phone calls, checking in and out patients, etc.) with a smile and Aloha.
  • Proficiency with computers and cash handling.
  • Being a team player.
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to interact professionally with doctors, colleagues and our diverse population of patients and visitors.
  • Knowledge of insurance-HMO, PPOs, and commercial insurance, a plus.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a medical practice, and medical terminology, specifically in Ophthalmology, a plus.
  • High level of flexibility and ability to adapt to challenging situations.
  • Travel to both locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
  • Weekends as needed Serious inquiries only and no phone calls please.

Salary commensurate with experience.
Expected hours:
No more than 40.0 per week
