Responsibilities:
Provide a professional, welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors, offering information on services and procedures. Keep patients and families informed about wait times, provider availability, and any delays. Address general inquiries and concerns with empathy, escalating complex issues as needed. Offer guidance on charges, payment processes, and insurance procedures. Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. Answer and route incoming calls, providing basic information as appropriate. Ensure all interactions and data handling follow confidentiality and UPH standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous customer service experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): None
