Job Description Responsibilities (include but not limited): Patient check in, check out, collect copay, collect deductibles and process payments. Reconcile end of day receipts. Schedule follow up appointments, recalls, and provide information and materials to patient. Answer telephone, take messages, and schedule appointments. Maintain patient demographic information by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. General office duties such as copying, faxing, scanning, and placing documents. Referrals Support peers and providers with a positive team approach. In this role, you must have knowledge of HIPAA, Confidentiality, office equipment, and skills with computers. The candidate must provide quality customer service, treat the patient with respect, be detail oriented, have good verbal/written communication skills, and work well in a team environment. You must maintain regular and steady work attendance. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Medical Terminology (preferred)
