American Staffing is seeking a Medical Receptionist for a local medical office in Idaho Falls. The receptionist will provide excellent customer service, assist patients check-in and scheduling, answer phones and help with general office duties as directed by office manager. The ideal candidate for this position would be some with a positive and upbeat personality and previous customer service/office experience.
Job Duties:
Greet patients/visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check patients in/out and update patient information Manage referrals and ensuring authorizations are in place Collect payments and provide receipts when needed Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Assist with insurance information and basic paperwork Communicate with patients, medical staff and providers Handle general clerical and administrative duties Maintain a clean and organized reception area Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
Good communication skills Familiarity with electronic medical records and Word Previous receptionist, customer service or office experience preferred Professional and friendly communication skills Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to multitask in a busy office environment Basic computer skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Hours and pay: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm $15-$16 DOE
