Job Description

Shift:
Days Responsible for applying and reconciling daily cash receipts to ensure the integrity of the accounts receivable balances of the organization through a broad understanding of account handling processes. The ideal candidate for this position is one that pays close attention to detail, has strong organizational and analytical problem solving skills in addition to exemplary customer services skills and the ability to remain calm and de-escalate upset customers. The Patient Financial Services is a well trained group of individuals that work diligently to process complete and accurate accounting for services at Bonner General Health. Our Account Representatives are trained to work with multiple insurance, medicare and medicaid systems to help navigate the financial system.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Two years' cashier or related office experience Previous work experience in healthcare and/or billing preferred Knowledge of basic bookkeeping concepts and principles of accounting Ability to read and interpret various payer remittances (Explanation of Benefits) Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software Knowledge of claim forms, UB04 and
HCFA 1500
