The Patient Safety Assistant is responsible for providing direct supervision and companionship to patients as a safety measure to prevent suicidal, behavioral, and medical patients from harming themselves.SKILLS AND QUALITIES

REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUMEDUCATION
High School Diploma orG.E.D. REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS
PREFERRED CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN, OR RELATED HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE
- BLS
CPI TRAINED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year acute hospital /healthcare setting experience.
- Must be able to complete training module prior to first assignment.
