Shady Oak Dental is looking for an enthusiastic, personable, positive front office coordinator to join our team. We are a multi office group, so our front office coordinator will be expected to work at multiple locations. Our dental office focuses on high-quality dental and customer service. We are a modern and state-of-the-art family dental practice. This is a team-oriented, friendly and caring work environment. You need to be knowledgeable about all aspects of insurance, including billing, EOB, claims, account receivable and collections. You will work closely with patients in presenting treatment plans and financial options to help them receive the treatment they need.Skills:
- Solid dental administrative experience, good customer service and a mature, calm demeanor are essential skills for this position
- Greeting and receiving patients, making financial arrangements, answering telephones with proper telephone etiquette, screening and directing calls, responding to patient needs and questions regarding dental procedures and follow up on appointments
- Check-in and check-out of patients, scheduling patients and ensuring patient info is up to date and accurate
- Collect co-pays and past due balance on date of service, present financial treatment plans, facilitate effective patient flow of scheduling patients
- Identify, reference and apply insurance coverage and billing while performing basic computer functions
Requirements:
Dental experience preferred Excellent communication skills and warm personality Demonstrates knowledge of effective scheduling Demonstrates and promotes superior customer service skills Works well under pressure and ability to multi-task Exercise knowledge of dental terminology preferred Experience with, and proficiency in, electronic medical records, Dentrix Ascend software, insurance verificationJob Type:
