Description:
Pana Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential part in creating a positive patient experience by accurately registering inpatient and outpatient patients, verifying insurance and physician information, obtaining required documentation, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. You will also assist patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion, support switchboard operations, collect applicable payments, and help connect patients with available financial assistance resources. If you enjoy helping others, providing exceptional customer service, and being part of a team committed to quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent (GED). Typing skills required. Telephone skills required. Calculator, computer monitor/printer, fax, copier experience preferred.
