Job Description
Harrison County Hospital has an opening for a Registration Clerk. This position is PRN (as needed), 8-10 hour shifts. The Registration Clerk provides timely, accurate information and direction to patients and visitors while protecting patients' rights to privacy, monitors security of entrance/exit doors, answers the phone and performs filing or other unskilled business office functions as directed, and participates in activities as assigned. Clerks obtain and collect all patient consent signatures, demographic information and insurance billing information at the time of registration while maintaining excellent customer service.
