Patient Registration Representative Indianapolis, IN $16.00/hour ⏰ Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available Make a Difference From the Moment Patients Arrive Are you passionate about helping others and creating positive experiences during important moments? We are seeking compassionate, customer-focused Patient Registration Representatives to serve as the first point of contact for patients in various healthcare settings. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring patients feel welcomed, supported, and cared for while helping facilitate a smooth registration and check-in process. What You'll DoPatient Registration & Check-In
+ Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and empathy.
+ Create a warm, welcoming, and positive patient experience.
+ Verify and update patient demographic information accurately.
+ Confirm insurance information and ensure records are up to date.
+ Obtain required documentation and patient consents.
+ Answer questions related to healthcare services, appointments, and procedures. Front Desk & Administrative Support
+ Locate and manage patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
+ Schedule follow-up appointments when needed.
+ Support patient checkout processes.
+ Maintain accuracy when entering data and processing information.
+ Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow. Additional Responsibilities
+ Assist patients arriving through various entry points, including emergency and outpatient settings.
+ Perform bedside registration when required.
+ Support patients with insurance questions and self-pay options.
+ Escort patients when needed and provide general assistance throughout the facility. + Ability to push wheelchairs and assist with patient navigation Schedule Healthcare operations run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Various shifts are available, including rotating schedules and 12-hour shifts, with up to 40 hours per week. Candidates should be flexible and comfortable working weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
