Job Summary The Clinical Dietitian - Outpatient Services provides individualized nutrition assessment, counseling, education, and follow-up for patients receiving care in ambulatory clinics, specialty service lines, and outpatient programs. This position supports patients with chronic disease management, oncology-related nutrition needs, diabetes education, bariatric and preventive wellness goals through evidence-based nutrition interventions designed to improve health outcomes and support physician-directed treatment plans. The Clinical Dietitian - Outpatient Services functions as a member of the multidisciplinary ambulatory care team, collaborating with providers, nursing staff, pharmacy, acute and subacute rehabilitation services, and specialty clinic personnel to develop nutrition care plans that address medical, behavioral, and lifestyle factors affecting patient health. This role also supports hospital growth initiatives related to preventive care, chronic disease management, oncology support, bariatric and wellness programming. Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in dietetic, nutrition or related field from an accredited institution with course work approved by applicable nutrition and dietetics accrediting agencies. Registered Dietitian (RD) or obtain registry within six months of hire date. Licensed Dietitian in the state of Indiana or obtain licensure within 30 days of obtaining registry. Preferred Job Requirements Experience with oncology nutrition, diabetes education, or bariatric and wellness programming. Master's degree preferred. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or other relevant specializations such as Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) or Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM).

Ability to work occasional extended hours, evenings and/or weekends based on the needs of the department. Works with protected health information. Position functions primarily within the outpatient clinic environments, specialty care setting, wellness programs and ambulatory service locations, with occasional impatient support as operation needs require.
