Job Description
Make a meaningful difference by helping keep patients safe during their most vulnerable moments. As a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA), you'll work alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to provide continuous observation and support for patients who require close monitoring. What You'll Do Provide continuous observation of patients identified as high risk for falls, self-injury, wandering, or other safety concerns Monitor patient behavior and report changes in condition, escalating behaviors, pain, discomfort, or safety risks to nursing staff Alert staff to episodes of wandering or attempted elopement Promote a safe environment by remaining attentive and responsive to patient needs Assist with personal hygiene and basic patient care activities as directed by a Registered Nurse Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support quality patient care About the Resource Team The Resource Team is ideal for individuals seeking variety and flexibility.
