Job Description
Join Our Dental Team! We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our dental office. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment a patient walks through our doors. Dental experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Patient Relations Greet and welcome patients with a positive and friendly attitude Create an outstanding patient experience and help patients feel comfortable Build relationships with patients and provide excellent customer service Communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication Scheduling & Office Communication Schedule and confirm patient appointments Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Manage the daily appointment schedule to maximize efficiency Contact patients regarding appointments, treatment follow-ups, and recalls Insurance & Financial Coordination Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage and benefits Discuss treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients Collect and post patient payments Marketing & Social Media Participate in creating and posting content for social media platforms Help showcase the office culture, patient experience, and services Support marketing and patient engagement initiatives Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and positive attitude Comfortable discussing finances and treatment plans with patients Basic computer skills and ability to learn dental software Experience in a dental office is preferred but not required for the right candidate Experience with insurance verification and claims processing is a plus What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly and welcoming Dependable and detail-oriented Comfortable talking with people all day A team player who enjoys helping others Motivated to provide exceptional customer service Professional and eager to learn Benefits Competitive compensation Paid time off Paid holidays Opportunities for growth and development Health Insurance plan available Supportive and positive work environment Office Hours 8am
