Job Description

Hospitalist opening in Ashland, KY Tri-State Border of KY, WV, & OH, about 65 miles from Charleston, WV A 455-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is offering an outstanding Nocturnist opportunity for a board eligible/certified family physician or internist.

The incoming hospitalist will earn annual salary guarantees of $325k. We also provide excellent benefits (health, life, dental, virion and retirement) and paid malpractice. Signing bonus and student loan support also are available. Serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our Hospitalists enjoy a vibrant practice. Position Details
  • Seven days on/off; from 8 pm to 8 am.
  • Hospitalist manage admissions and oversee the house census.
  • The team utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • The practice location, Ashland, Kentucky, is a safe, family-friendly community with great schools, affordable living and excellent local shopping and dining.
Ashland also features access to beautiful state and national parks and a variety of outdoor pursuits (hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, golf, tennis, cave exploration, hunting and fishing). Ashland also is a reasonable drive to Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; and Lexington, Kentucky.
Additional Information:
Medical center serves a patient population of 700,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio some travel more than two hours for care. Combined with the fact few endocrinologists are practicing in our region, this promises to be a vibrant practice. Medical center features an outstanding support team of primary care physicians and specialists. In addition to timely and efficient lab services, our medical center features the EPIC electronic medical records system.

the Tri-State region is renowned for family friendly communities with great schools and low crime. We also host some of the country's finest state parks, featuring golf, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and biking.
