Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures to create a positive experience. Schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software and coordinate follow-up visits. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by inputting data swiftly and securely, adhering to confidentiality standards. Answer phone calls promptly, address patient questions, and direct inquiries to appropriate healthcare providers or departments. Support medical administrative functions such as data entry, document processing, and managing correspondence. Uphold strict patient confidentiality in compliance with health regulation policies and privacy laws at all times. Skills Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, including HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards. Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR/EHR management), and patient management software systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and client interactions. Knowledge of health insurance processes, billing procedures, and medical administrative support tasks. Ability to type quickly and accurately while multitasking in a busy office environment.
