Job Description
Description The Patient Access Representative plays a critical role in delivering a seamless patient experience by providing exceptional customer service while supporting patient registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling functions. This position ensures accurate and compliant patient data collection, promotes financial transparency, and supports operational efficiency within a hospital setting.
Schedules open:
5:30am- 2pm & 7a-3:30p 8:30am-5:00pm
Job Duties:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in accordance with Clients Standards of Care, delivering a world-class customer experience Complete full patient registration at the time of service, ensuring accuracy of demographic, insurance, and financial information Skills patient access, medical customer service, medical terminology, Customer service, Epic, Access management Additional Skills & Qualifications- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to research and work independently.
- Accurate data entry skills and 10‑key proficiency by touch. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mount Sterling, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.70
- $19.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
