Responsibilities:
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch
No Weekends or Holidays Duties:
The duties include, but are not limited to the following; Greet patients/visitors at a clinic front desk; checks in patients for patient encounter. Answers main office phone line Schedule medical appointments and determines patient eligibility for services as needed. Obtains documentation as requested by healthcare providers. Performs other administrative and clerical duties in support of the medical care and operational support. Creates appointment schedules and templates in patient appointment computer systems. Conducts end-of-day process at close of business and resolve any delinquent or pending appointments in computer system. Contact patients to schedule, reschedule, and/or cancel appointments as needed, to include appointments for consult/referral specialty care. Use multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents to provide miscellaneous clerical support. Assist patients with TRICARE tasks such as contacting TRICARE to assign PCM and creating/verifying secure messaging accounts. Gain access and become familiar with EFMP Knowledge Exchange (KX). Complete Total Force Management System (e.g. MyVector) training with the designated field trainer.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Degree or General Educational Development (GED) and medical terminology.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year recent experience after graduation.
Security:
Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
Life Support Certifications:
AHA or ARC BLS Certification
