Job Description

Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40 Obtain meal selections according to physician-ordered diets. Function as a resource to the nutrition assistants and as a liaison between nutrition office and MD's offices for scheduling outpatient appointments and obtaining necessary insurance information.

Be a leader to fellow coworkers in the diet office.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
Minimum of 6 months experience as a nutrition assistant or equivalent position in a hospital setting Excellent command of verbal and written English Positive interpersonal communication and organizational skills Thorough knowledge of therapeutic diets Ability to serve as a resource for nutrition assistants Ability to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced, professional office environment Ability to efficiently and accurately obtain necessary insurance information Ability to communicate effectively with various offices, personnel and staff Proficiency in technology usage Excellent telephone etiquette
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
Excellent problem-solving skills Detail oriented with ability to prioritize effectively Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks as appropriate
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Salary Range:
$18.71-$28.26 Salary Range Details The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health's benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement.
