Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist, Inpatient Service, Employed

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (Child and Adolescent) - Hospital is seeking a BE|BC Child |Adolescent Psychiatrist for a 14-bed inpatient unity in Plymouth County. The Inpatient Adolescent unit offers acute mental health services to stabilize adolescents (ages 13-17) who require intensive psychiatric treatment and stabilization. Services include diagnostic assessment, crisis stabilization, family support, psychopharmacological treatment, therapeutic group programming, tutoring services, a physician-led multi-disciplinary treatment team (LIP, nurses, social worker, case manager, mental health specialist); and aftercare planning. Detoxification treatment provided, if necessary. The hospital is a premier facility with a vibrant program. Program has 72 -beds, three adult units and one adolescent unit. There is also an outpatient program. The hospital offers acute mental health services to stabilize patients experiencing an acute psychiatric episode or exacerbation of chronic conditions. Services include medication management, individual, group, and expressive therapies; family support, physician-led multi-disciplinary treatment team, and aftercare planning.
