Wellesley Hills, MA Schedule:
Monday-Friday Overview The ideal candidate has experience in a medical setting, computer literacy and multitasking are essential. The position requires attention to detail, reliability and acute thoroughness. The ideal candidate would also possess the following skills or attributes: Administrative Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Scheduling appointments including obtaining demographic and insurance information Checking patients in and out and scheduling follow up appointments Scheduling outside diagnostic testing Entering information into electronic medical record system (EPIC) and billing system Keeping physician's patient and meeting schedules Ensuring correspondence is sent in a timely manner Interacting with physician and advanced practice providers for prompt response to patients Other clerical duties as assigned
Essential Clinical Functions and Accountabilities:
Job Requirements and Skills:
High School Diploma (minimum); College degree preferred Minimum 1 year of administrative assistant experience required. Experience in a medical setting strongly preferred. Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Understanding of insurance referral system Flexibility Excellent customer service skills Good organizational and time management skills
