Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Process insurance verifications and patient billing inquiries. Assist with administrative tasks including filing and data entry. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently. Provide a welcoming atmosphere and support for patients and visitors.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a medical setting. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Proficiency in using office software and medical management systems. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is advantageous.
