Rotation across our offices in the Greater Baltimore Area (Dundalk,Towson, Laurel, Annapolis, HdG) (Per company travel policy) . We integrate medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with comprehensive behavioral healthcare, mental health therapy, psychiatry, and ongoing support services to effectively manage substance use disorders and treat the whole person.

Competitive Pay:
$19.00- $23.00/ hr based on experience Starting salary is competitive and based entirely on your medical office experience and qualifications.

Personal Leave Sick and Safe Leave Paid Holidays Schedule:
40 hours per week, including at least one evening and every Saturday from 8am-3pm. (Schedules are subject to change based on patient needs). The Reality of the Role (What to Expect) We believe in being transparent—this is not a traditional Medical Assistant position. At MATClinics, you'll do much more than take vital signs. Every day requires balancing clinical responsibilities, administrative tasks, and exceptional customer service.
You'll:
Interview patients about their medical history, substance use, mental health, and recovery needs to help providers make informed clinical decisions. Spend a significant amount of time using technology to document patient information, manage electronic prescriptions, track lab specimens, and maintain accurate medical records. Prepare and manage injections, educate patients about services such as counseling and psychiatry, connect them with resources Answer challenging phone calls, schedule appointments, and help ensure the clinic runs smoothly. Maintain an all-hands-on-deck mentality. This includes assisting the admin team with answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing light cleaning to keep clinical spaces sanitary and professional. This role may not be the best fit if you: Want a Medical Assistant role focused only on taking vitals and rooming patients. Prefer a slow-paced or highly predictable workday. Dislike working extensively with computers and electronic medical records. Feel uncomfortable discussing addiction, mental health, or other sensitive topics. Prefer to avoid answering phones or assisting with front office responsibilities. This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding position where you'll play a meaningful role in helping patients on their recovery journey every single day. What You Bring (Qualifications)
Customer Service :
High level of customer service and professional phone etiquette required, with the ability to maintain empathy and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Patient Engagement :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly, listen effectively, and engage compassionately with patients in recovery.
Tech-Intuitive:
You don't just have "basic skills"—you are fast and smart with software, apps, and digital filing.
SUD Knowledge:
You understand (or are ready to learn) the specifics of addiction, recovery, and treatments like Buprenorphine.
Flexibility:
You are okay with traveling to our different offices and working evenings and every Saturday.
Logistics :
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between all office locations as required.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, human services, or a related field preferred. Ready to Make a Difference?
