Job Description

Overview Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group (CCG) is a leading outpatient treatment provider in the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsibilities In person part-time 20-30 hours per week schedule 5:30am - 1:30pm including rotating Saturday 6:00am - 9:00am Manage appointments by checking in patients, directing walk-ins, coordinating patient flow, and supporting chart/document availability for care providers. Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, routing calls/messages, and maintaining a professional, HIPAA-compliant interaction with patients and visitors. Collect and document co-pays/self-payments, maintain records, and follow established systems, procedures, and documentation standards. Monitor waiting area safety, respond to clinical alerts, and ensure adherence to patient requirements (e.g., screenings, appointments). Maintain a clean, organized front desk and waiting area. Collect urine specimens (observed/unobserved), perform point-of-care testing (toxicology & pregnancy), and ensure accurate labeling and tracking. Follow aseptic techniques, maintain specimen integrity, prepare and ship samples properly, and adhere to all lab policies, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements. Accurately record test results, maintain logs, track collections, and document quality control and any corrective actions. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper handling of supplies and equipment. Collaborate with team members, communicate supply needs, assist with clerical tasks, and report any issues affecting test performance. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a medical office, hospital, or similar patient-facing environment (5+ preferred) Working knowledge of medical insurance, billing, and related regulations Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems/software Strong verbal and written communication, professional phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and stay organized High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve goals Pluses •

The base pay range for this position is $20/hour - $23/hour. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, licensure, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
