09/02/2026 Lead Registrar Position Summary The Lead Registrar provides daily support, guidance, and oversight of registration staff and patient admission activities to ensure efficient, accurate, and customer-focused registration services. This role serves as a subject matter expert in Patient Access processes, workflows, and best practices while promoting quality, productivity, and exceptional patient experiences. The Lead Registrar collaborates with internal departments, monitors performance metrics, and proactively communicates operational concerns to leadership. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support, direction, and monitoring of Patient Access registration staff. Review and monitor point-of-service collections to ensure departmental goals are achieved. Audit registrations for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established workflows, including documentation, scanned records, and account comments. Experience One (1) to three (3) years of Patient Access, registration, or healthcare admissions experience required. Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Patient Access registration processes, insurance verification, and patient admissions. Strong understanding of customer service principles and patient experience standards. Experience auditing registrations and monitoring quality and productivity metrics.
Pay Range:
$19.10 to $28.65 B ase pay is determined by a variety of factors including the market range, candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as internal peer equity.
