Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience by managing appointments, taking patient phone calls and maintaining dental records. This position requires an understanding of dental terminology and office procedures. Responsibilities Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the daily calendar for dental providers. Process patient information and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their inquiries and appointment details Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office operations and improve patient satisfaction. Stay updated on dental terminology to ensure accuracy in documentation. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications. Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
