Riemer Eye Center is looking for a positive, organized, and dependable Patient Services Team Member to join our Manistee team! For more than 30 years, Riemer Eye Center has been providing exceptional eye care throughout Northern Michigan. As a Patient Services Team Member, you are the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in creating a positive experience from the very first phone call. This position serves as a communication hub for our patients across all Riemer Eye Center locations, including assisting patients with scheduling, appointment changes, and questions. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping patients receive the care they need. As a Patient Services Team Member, you will: Answer incoming patient calls with professionalism, compassion, and a positive attitude. Schedule new and existing patient appointments across all Riemer Eye Center locations. Assist patients with rescheduling and canceling appointments. Help coordinate provider schedules to ensure efficient patient flow. Answer patient questions and provide accurate information regarding appointments and services. Communicate with patients in a friendly and caring manner. Assist patients with concerns and ensure they receive excellent service. Work closely with clinical teams, providers, and center leadership. Maintain accurate patient information and documentation. Help create a seamless experience for patients from the first phone call through their visit. To be considered for employment, candidates must: Have a positive, energetic "Can Do" attitude. Enjoy talking with people and helping solve problems. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Have strong communication and organizational abilities. Be able to multitask and stay organized in a busy healthcare environment. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Have a favorable work and/or school history with excellent references. Be dependable, punctual, and someone the team can count on. Be comfortable learning new technology and scheduling systems. Maintain professionalism and represent Riemer Eye Center with pride. Healthcare, medical office, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and desire to learn!
