Pleasant, Michigan Clerical/Admin Support 0700-1930 and 1000-2230 Regular Full-Time Day Shift Patient Registration - Mt P 47126 Job Description Summary The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to; registering all new patients, obtaining the necessary information from them upon arrival. Functioning as an operator for the entire medical center and as an answering service for physicians. Also performs general clerical duties. Other functions that may be assigned. Responsibilities (25%)- Completes registration of incoming patients. (25%)
- Know insurances and how they interact with one another. Know basic reimbursement and ability to explain it to the public. (25%)
- Performs duties of the physician answering service. (25%)
- Maintains appropriate files and records.
